What Workona Does Well

Workona is built around spaces: one per project or client, each holding its tabs plus resources, notes and tasks. Switching space swaps the tabs in your window. Everything autosaves to Workona’s cloud and syncs between computers.

It is also built for teams. Shared spaces, templates, centralised billing and, on Enterprise, SSO and admin controls are things BelayTab doesn’t offer and doesn’t plan to.

Where a Workspace Tool Is More Than You Need

If what you want is to close 40 tabs and get them back next week, spaces add structure you have to maintain. Workona’s free plan limits how many spaces you can create, and 90-day session backups are a Pro feature.

Your data lives in Workona’s cloud, which is useful for sync but means an account from day one. BelayTab works signed out, keeps everything on your computer, and only uses a server if you turn on Sync.

How to Switch From Workona to BelayTab

1. Open a Workona space

   Switch to the space you want to keep so its tabs are open in a window.

2. Save the window in BelayTab

   Click the BelayTab icon and save the window. Name the session after the space.

3. Repeat for each space

   Do the same for every space you want to bring across. BelayTab starts snapshotting your windows straight away.
